Gold Falls 3.28% to $4,328/oz After Non-Farm Data Release; Silver Down 8%, Copper Down 4.11% on Friday

On Friday June 5 at New York close, spot gold plunged 3.28% to $4,328.70 per ounce following the release of Non-Farm Payroll data, declining from around $4,466 earlier in the session. COMEX gold futures dropped 3.26% to $4,354.60 per ounce. Gold posted a weekly decline of 4.62%.

Spot silver fell 8.05% to $67.93 per ounce, slipping from $73.32, with a weekly loss of 9.88%. COMEX copper futures declined 4.11% to $6.26 per pound. Spot platinum and palladium also retreated, down 6.13% and 6.45% respectively on the session.
