Gold Falls to $4,685, Silver Drops 1.83% Intraday on May 14

According to Gate, gold prices fell to $4,685.95 per ounce with a 0.07% intraday decline, while silver dropped to $85.21 per ounce, down 1.83% on May 14.

Cryptocurrency volatility indices also shifted: BTC Volatility Index (BVIX) rose 1.66% to 39.85, and ETH Volatility Index (EVIX) gained 0.7% to 54.74. In foreign exchange, USD/CNH declined 0.05% to 6.78366, while USD/JPY rose 0.1% to 157.975. European stock indices advanced, with EUSTX50 up 0.31% to 5,907.58, UK100 up 0.05% to 10,354.6, and GER40 up 0.54% to 24,365.6. Oil prices retreated, with WTI crude down 0.65% to $101.09 per barrel and Brent crude down 0.56% to $108.01.
