According to Bloomberg, Goldman Sachs' asset allocation research chief Christian Mueller-Glissman stated recently that the recent tech stock selloff is a healthy signal following increased speculative positioning. Mueller-Glissman noted that elevated leveraged ETF and options positioning had driven the rally, and added that some consolidation may not be a negative development.
