According to Solana Foundation, Google Cloud and Solana Foundation are jointly hosting an AI Agent Commerce hackathon on Solana, with project submissions due August 3 and the final demo day scheduled for August 21 at Google Startup Campus. Participants will develop services where AI agents autonomously execute payments within preset limits using Google's Gemini AI model and Solana's on-chain payment infrastructure, including stablecoins and Solana Pay. The hackathon offers a total prize pool of $5,000, with $3,000 for first place, $1,500 for second, and $500 for third, distributed as grants by Solana Foundation. Approximately 10 teams will advance to the finals after preliminary and online reviews.
