Google Signs $920M Monthly Deal with SpaceX for AI Compute Capacity

According to a filing on Friday, Google inked a deal with SpaceX to pay $920 million per month for AI compute capacity. The agreement will provide Google access to approximately 110,000 Nvidia graphics processing units, along with central processors and other hardware components housed at SpaceX's data centers. The contract runs from October 2026 through June 2029 at the stated $920 million monthly rate, with capacity ramping up through September 2026 at a reduced fee. SpaceX stipulated that if it fails to deliver the committed GPU capacity by September 30, 2026, Google can either immediately terminate the agreement or accept a reduced number of GPUs at a lower rate after a one-month grace period.
