Guangxi Transfers Additional 30 Million Yuan in Emergency Relief Funds to Liuzhou Following 5.2-Magnitude Earthquake

According to Guangxi Department of Finance, on May 21, China's National Committee for Disaster Prevention, Mitigation and Relief activated a Level 4 emergency response following consecutive 5.2-magnitude earthquakes in Liuzhou's Liunan District. Guangxi provincial treasury transferred an additional 30 million yuan in emergency relief funds to Liuzhou, bringing cumulative emergency allocations to 50 million yuan, to support the relocation of affected residents, hazard elimination, secondary disaster assessments, and reconstruction efforts.
