Hainan Governor Inspects Cross-Border Computing Infrastructure, Emphasizes Green Energy Integration on May 25

According to Hainan Daily, Hainan Province Governor Liu Xiaoming inspected cross-border computing infrastructure construction on May 25, reviewing the operation of the Hainan Computing Capacity Monitoring and Dispatch Platform. During the inspection, Liu emphasized prioritizing green, low-carbon development and deepening computing-electricity synergy, including measures such as direct green power supply, green power replacement, and energy-saving retrofits. He stressed that stable, green, affordable, and reliable electricity is essential to support high-quality development of the computing industry, enabling a virtuous cycle of enhanced computing through electricity and boosted electricity through computing.
