Hana Asset Management Shifts TDF Strategy Away From Big Tech, Adds Small-Cap Stocks and Asian Exposure

Hana Asset Management unveiled its H2 operating strategy for the LIFEPLUS target-date fund on July 14, aiming to expand AI investment gains while reducing concentration risk in large U.S. technology stocks. The firm plans to increase allocations to semiconductors and AI infrastructure, while broadening investments to include U.S. small-cap stocks, Japan, and Asian emerging markets. This shift reflects expectations that investor focus will move from AI industry growth potential toward identifying companies that translate large capital expenditures into actual revenue and profits, according to Cha Duk-young, head of the firm's retirement pension division.
