Hunan Police Recover and Return 100,000 Yuan to USDT Scam Victim on May 14

According to Hunan Daily via ChainCatcher, Hunan police on May 14 returned 100,000 yuan to a victim who was defrauded while attempting to purchase USDT online. The victim, Liu, reported the fraud on February 9 after transferring the funds to a scammer impersonating a cryptocurrency trader. Police arrested the suspect, surnamed Shi, the same night and recovered the full amount through asset tracing and family cooperation. The suspect is currently under criminal detention on fraud charges.
