Hunter Hunt Warns Middle East Energy Crisis Could Cut Oil Production; Hormuz Strait Closure Would Block One-Fifth of Global Supply

According to Jin10, on May 14, Hunter Hunt, head of Hunt Oil Company, warned that damage to Middle East energy infrastructure could reduce global oil production in coming years. Hunt cited concerns including oil production shutdowns, refinery damage, and potential closure of the Strait of Hormuz, which historically transported approximately one-fifth of the world's crude oil. "This is simply a nightmare scenario no one wants to see in their planning," Hunt said on Wednesday.
