According to IBK Enterprise Bank, on July 27, the lender's small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) lending balance reached 270 trillion won in the first half of 2026, up 8.1 trillion won from end-2025, capturing a record market share of 24.6%.
The bank's second-quarter net profit totaled 689.5 billion won, down 0.7% year-over-year, attributable to foreign exchange losses and increased loan loss provisions amid elevated currency volatility. Despite the decline, the bank improved net interest income and securities-related gains, partly offsetting the profit decrease.
