According to three sources reported by Jin10, Indian Prime Minister Modi will visit the United Arab Emirates on Friday (May 16) to discuss long-term energy supply agreements and seek support for expanding India's strategic petroleum reserves. The UAE is the first stop of Modi's five-country tour from May 15-20.

As the world's third-largest energy importer, India relies heavily on the UAE, which is among its top suppliers of crude oil and natural gas. India's energy supplies have previously faced disruptions due to regional conflicts.
