According to MacRumors, Apple's iPhone 18 Pro series is expected to feature multiple upgrades ahead of this fall's launch event. The flagship devices will reportedly be powered by TSMC's 2nm A20 Pro chip, offering significant improvements in computing performance and energy efficiency compared to the current A19 Pro.

Key upgrades include support for satellite 5G connectivity, allowing basic web browsing even outside Wi-Fi and cellular coverage. The camera system is expected to introduce a variable aperture design on the 48-megapixel main sensor, enabling users to manually adjust light intake for better depth control. The Pro Max model is rumored to feature a slightly thicker body to accommodate a 10% battery capacity increase, while the lineup will debut a new "dark cherry red" color option.
