Iran Conditions Final Nuclear Deal Talks on Memorandum Implementation, Decision in Days

According to Jin 10, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Baghaei stated on June 30 that the timing and format of Iran-U.S. negotiations on a final agreement will be determined in the coming days, with the launch of talks contingent on the implementation of relevant clauses in the Iran-U.S. memorandum of understanding.

Baghaei said at a regular press briefing that the prerequisite for initiating final agreement talks is that the memorandum's relevant provisions begin to be executed and continue to be implemented. He noted that execution of certain clauses in the memorandum has already commenced and is ongoing. Iran will assess current progress in the coming days and determine accordingly the start date and specific format of final agreement negotiations.
