According to Iran's Tasnim News Agency, on the evening of June 6, explosions heard near Harko Island were from controlled demolition operations at the Bahregang oil field to dispose of unexploded ordnance left by recent attacks. Iranian officials stated the public has no cause for concern. The Bushehr Province had announced plans to conduct ordnance disposal and controlled demolition operations on June 6.
