According to Iranian media on May 17, Iran’s military spokesperson warned the United States against launching new military operations, stating that any attempt to take fresh military action would result in a ‘more severe and heavier strike.’ The official stated that if the U.S. carries out military threats or actions against Iran, Iranian forces will deliver a ‘new, offensive, surprising and storm-like response’ targeting American military assets and troops in the region.
