Iran Official Denies Reports of U.S. Attack on Iranian Ships on May 9

According to Jin Ten Data, Iran’s Lengeh County administrator in Hormozgan Province denied reports on May 9 that U.S. fighter jets had attacked multiple Iranian cargo and fishing vessels in the Arabian Sea near Sib Port, with claims of six missing and six injured. The official stated that media reports issued in his name “are not true” and emphasized that relevant authorities have not released any official or verified information regarding such an attack.
