According to Iran’s Lengeh County official, on May 9, the county chief denied reports that U.S. fighter jets attacked Iranian cargo and fishing vessels in the Omani Sea near Sibu Port, which had claimed six ships were hit with six people missing and six injured. The official stated that some media reports issued in his name were “not true” and emphasized that relevant authorities have not released any official or verified information regarding such attacks.
