Gate News message, April 28 — Iran is resorting to abandoned oil storage sites to address mounting crude inventory as the U.S. Navy maintains its blockade and diplomatic negotiations remain stalled, according to the Wall Street Journal. Facing the risk of devastating production shutdowns, Iran is reactivating what is known as “trash storage” facilities using makeshift containers.
The country is simultaneously attempting to continue oil exports through rail networks, seeking alternative methods to circumvent the storage crisis caused by domestic oil accumulation.
