Iran Warns Bulgaria Against Hosting 8 U.S. Refueling Aircraft on July 22

According to Iran's state media, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Baghaei warned Bulgaria on July 22 against allowing the United States to use its territory for military operations against Iran. Bulgaria's government had sought parliamentary approval to host up to 8 U.S. refueling aircraft at one of its air force bases. Baghaei characterized any assistance to U.S. military action against Iran as complicity in what he called "aggression and war crimes."
