Iran's Foreign Minister Threatens to Reopen War if Israel Attacks Beirut

According to Iran's Islamic Republic News Agency on June 3, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi reiterated Iran's support for Lebanon, stating that if Israel continues military operations against Beirut, Iranian armed forces will reopen war and strike targets within Israeli territory. Araghchi said Iran has informed the United States that any Israeli military action against Beirut will be considered a complete breakdown of the ceasefire, which Iran will not tolerate, and Iranian armed forces will respond accordingly.
