Iran's IRGC Warns of Forced Interception for Non-Compliant Maritime Activities on May 4

GateNews

According to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps spokesman Sardar Hossein Mohammadi on May 4, the management procedures for the Strait of Hormuz remain unchanged. Civilian and commercial vessels that comply with the IRGC Navy’s transportation protocols, operate within designated routes, and are coordinated will continue to have safe passage. However, any maritime activities that do not comply with IRGC Navy principles will face serious risks and forced interception, the spokesman warned. All shipping companies and maritime insurance institutions are required to closely monitor notices issued by the IRGC.
