According to the Iraqi Prime Minister’s office, Prime Minister Zaidi on May 16 pledged to launch comprehensive economic and financial reforms aimed at building a strong, diversified, and sustainable national economy independent from single-resource dependence. The reform initiative will focus on revitalizing industry, agriculture, tourism, and investment sectors. Zaidi also emphasized the government’s commitment to protecting public funds and combating all forms of administrative and financial corruption.
