Japan's Commercial Crude Oil Inventories Decline by 275,467 Thousand Liters for Week of May 9

According to the Japan Petroleum Association (PAJ), Japan’s commercial crude oil inventories declined by 275,467 thousand liters to 8,409,487 thousand liters for the week ending May 9, compared with 8,684,954 thousand liters in the prior week. PAJ’s refinery operating capacity utilization (BPSD) stood at 78.0% for the week, down from 82.3% previously, while design capacity utilization (BPCD) fell to 73.3% from 77.3%.
