Japan's Foreign Minister Urges Iran to Maintain Ceasefire and Support U.S. Negotiations

Japan's Foreign Minister told Iran's Foreign Minister Araghchi today that maintaining a ceasefire and de-escalating tensions in the Strait of Hormuz are most urgent priorities.

Japan strongly hopes Iran will continue demonstrating maximum flexibility and resume negotiations with the United States at the earliest opportunity, the Japanese official added.
