Kimi Restores 199-699 Yuan Subscription Upgrades, Pauses New Plans

According to Kimi's official statement in user groups, the AI chatbot is restoring subscription options for existing users following recent plan adjustments. Users can now re-subscribe to older plans even if they previously canceled auto-renewal, and existing subscribers can upgrade between tiers—for example, from the 199-yuan plan to the 699-yuan plan.

The company acknowledged previous communication gaps and said it will redesign the new subscription tiers based on user feedback. Both the upgrade feature and renewal option for older plans are currently under development. New tier sales remain suspended pending the overhaul.
