KODA Obtains SOC1 Type2 Certification for Digital Asset Custody Services

According to its announcement on June 2, Korean Digital Asset (KODA) received SOC1 Type2 certification from Samil PwC for its digital asset custody services. The audit covered cold wallet operations, key generation and withdrawal procedures, access controls, and physical security measures. KODA demonstrated compliance through deployment of FIPS 140-2/140-3 certified hardware security modules (HSM), multi-signature cold wallet infrastructure, and advanced cold room facilities including fireproof safes, electromagnetic pulse shielding, automatic fire suppression, and uninterruptible power supply systems. The certification validates KODA's technical, physical, and operational controls for protecting customer assets.
