According to the Korea Exchange, as of July 24, KODEX Value ETF delivered year-to-date returns of 81.23%, outperforming KODEX Growth ETF's 64.23% by 17 percentage points. Both funds held identical top three holdings in Samsung Electronics, SK Hynix, and SK Square.
Since June, as market volatility increased, performance divergence widened. Over the past month, KODEX Value ETF fell 19.30%, compared to a steeper 24.10% decline in KODEX Growth ETF. The gap reflects differing sector weightings: the Value ETF holds higher exposure to financial and automotive stocks, while the Growth ETF concentrates on semiconductor and technology sectors.
