Korea Investment Corporation Opens Tokyo Office as 6th Overseas Hub

According to Yonhapinfomax, Korea Investment Corporation (KIC) opened its Tokyo office on July 7 in the Marunouchi financial district, expanding its investment footprint across the Asia-Pacific region. The office marks KIC's sixth overseas hub, following operations in New York, London, Singapore, San Francisco, and Mumbai. KIC President Park Il-young stated the Tokyo office will serve as a strategic base to identify quality investment opportunities in Japan and the broader Asia-Pacific capital markets. The office will manage both traditional assets such as equities and bonds, as well as alternative investments including private equity and real estate.
