KOSDAQ Triggers Circuit Breaker After 8% Decline, First Halt in Two Months

According to the Korea Exchange on July 28, KOSDAQ triggered a circuit breaker around 12:01 p.m. today after plunging 8%. The index initially fell over 5% at market open, activating a sell-side side car, with losses accelerating throughout the afternoon. This marks the first circuit breaker on KOSDAQ since June 8, approximately two months ago.
