According to the Korea Exchange, the KOSPI index plummeted 11.29% during trading yesterday (July 27), triggering simultaneous circuit breakers in both KOSPI and KOSDAQ markets, which halted trading for 20 minutes. The index has declined approximately 28% so far this month.
