KOSPI Rises 0.73% to 6,856.83 on July 14; Individuals Sell 4.15 Trillion Won

According to EDaily, South Korea's KOSPI index closed up 0.73% to 6,856.83 on July 14, bouncing back from intraday losses that sent the benchmark down to 6,440. Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix rebounded with gains exceeding 3%, while SK Square rose over 2%. Retail investors sold 4.15 trillion won, while foreign investors and institutions purchased 978 billion won and 3.22 trillion won, respectively.

The KOSDAQ index fell 1.92% to 783.98, marking the 20th circuit breaker activation this year.
