Kuwait and Bahrain Conducted Secret Airstrikes Against Iranian Targets Earlier This Month, U.S. Officials Say

According to U.S. officials on July 24, Kuwait and Bahrain conducted secret airstrikes against Iranian targets, including unmanned drones and missile storage facilities, earlier this month. The United Arab Emirates provided target intelligence and air cover for both operations.

Kuwait's ambassador to the United States denied Kuwaiti involvement in any military operations against Iran, stating that Kuwait has never permitted its territory to be used for attacks on neighboring countries. Bahrain's government has not yet responded to the allegations.
