LB Investment Leads $10M Funding Round for Korean-American AI Datacenter Startup Pouinto Technology

According to Chosun Ilbo, LB Investment, a South Korean venture capital firm with approximately $1.5 billion in assets under management, invested $10 million in Pouinto Technology on July 15. The Korean-American startup, founded by former Marvell semiconductor executive Park Jin-ho and KAIST professor Bae Hyun-min, develops e-tube interconnect technology for efficient GPU-to-GPU communication in data centers. Nvidia and Bosch have previously invested in the company.

Pouinto Technology is closing its Series B-2 funding round with total expected raise of $92 million, including LB Investment's participation. The company projects a public listing before 2030 upon completion of technical validation and production orders.
