Lebanese President Aoun Vows to Do Everything Possible to End Israeli War

According to Lebanese Presidential Palace statement, President Joseph Aoun said today (May 18) he will do everything possible to end the Israeli war on Lebanon and prevent the country from entering a larger conflict. Aoun set five conditions for ceasefire negotiations: Israeli withdrawal from occupied land, ceasefire implementation, Lebanese Army deployment on the border, return of displaced Lebanese citizens, and provision of economic and financial aid to Lebanon. He stressed that any statement differing from these conditions is false.
