LG U+ Invests 1.3 Trillion Korean Won in Paju AI Data Center Expansion

According to Yonhapnews, LG U+ announced on July 29 an additional 1.3 trillion Korean won investment for the second phase of its Paju artificial intelligence data center. The existing 200-megawatt facility is currently under construction, with the first building scheduled for completion in June 2027. The company plans to use the new funds to construct additional buildings and related infrastructure, leveraging LG Electronics' liquid cooling technology, LG Energy Solution's uninterruptible power supply batteries, and 27 years of data center operational expertise.
