Lido Investigates stETH Yield Reestimation Anomaly, Finds 32 ETH Missed in Oracle Today

STETH0.31%
ETH0.69%

According to Lido, the protocol's development team is investigating an anomaly in today's stETH yield reestimation caused by an oracle report. The reestimation showed an annual yield rate of 2.04%, versus the expected 2.15%. The 0.11% discrepancy resulted from 32 ETH in pending validator stakes not being included in oracle calculations, not from validator slashing. Lido confirmed that user assets face no risk, and users require no action.

The team is investigating the root cause. Once a fix is deployed, the next yield reestimation will incorporate the previously uncounted assets, and Lido will release a full incident report after determining the underlying cause.
