Lien Finance Exploited for $542K USDC Through Smart Contract Vulnerability Recently

According to ChainCatcher, Lien Finance, a decentralized finance protocol, was recently exploited through a smart contract vulnerability, with attackers stealing approximately $542,144 in USDC. Threat intelligence firm Slow Mist detected that the attacker leveraged a flaw in the bond token redemption logic to mint unsecured BondTokens without destroying corresponding input bonds, then used pre-authorized addresses to exchange USDC. The attacker transferred approximately 542,144.63 USDC from victim addresses by circumventing asset collateral constraints.
