Gate News message, April 22 — LOBSTR Wallet, a non-custodial platform with over 1.3 million active users originally built for Stellar, now supports the XRP Ledger. The integration, developed in collaboration with XRPL Commons, allows users to create or import XRP Ledger wallets directly within LOBSTR and manage XRP and RLUSD in a single interface without switching between platforms.

Exodus Wallet has also strengthened its XRP Ledger support with in-wallet tools for self-custody management of XRP and RLUSD. These wallet expansions reflect growing demand for seamless, multi-asset control without relying on custodial platforms.

Institutional interest in XRPL is intensifying, with major financial players including Mastercard, BlackRock, and Franklin Templeton monitoring the ecosystem closely, particularly as real-world asset (RWA) adoption accelerates. Recent data shows XRPL RWA activity surged 875%, pushing the sector toward an estimated $2.5 billion valuation. XRPL, operational since 2012, is recognized for near-instant settlement, ultra-low transaction fees, and expanding decentralized finance capabilities.
