Markets Price 55% Probability of Fed Rate Hike by Year-End, Only 0.5% for Cut

GateNews
According to CME FedWatch data, markets are currently pricing in a 0.5% probability of a rate cut by the end of 2026, while the probability of a rate hike has risen to approximately 55%. This reflects growing market concerns about rising inflationary pressures and energy prices impacting monetary policy. The shift comes as President Donald Trump expressed support for new Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh in a recent interview, saying "I'll let him do whatever he wants. He's a very talented person, he'll be fine and he'll do a good job."
