Megazone Cloud, a South Korea-based cloud services firm, was selected by Amazon Web Services on May 4 as the operations partner for AWS Agentic AI GameDay in South Korea, according to the company announcement. The program is a hands-on training event led by AWS's Generative AI Innovation Center, where teams work on AI-related technical problems and design solutions for business use cases. Megazone Cloud will deploy more than 40 specialists to handle setup, session support, and problem-solving guidance.
Program Structure and Tools
Participants in the AWS Agentic AI GameDay will use AWS tools including Amazon Bedrock, Bedrock AgentCore, and Strands Agents in a dedicated practice environment. The hands-on format is designed to help South Korean companies move beyond theory-heavy AI training and focus on solving technical and business problems.
Broader AWS Partner Alliance
Megazone Cloud's selection also marks its inclusion in the AWS Generative AI Partner Innovation Alliance, which launched globally with nine consulting firms and systems integrators. Other launch members include Deloitte, Booz Allen Hamilton, and Rackspace, a cloud and IT services company. The alliance extends the reach of AWS's Generative AI Innovation Center, which helps customers build and deploy generative AI systems.
Market Context: Shifting Competition Toward Implementation
According to AWS, 73% of initiatives at its Generative AI Innovation Center progress from proof of concept to production. The company also reports that some Generative AI Innovation Center offerings can be ready in 45 days. As Amazon Bedrock and related services expand access to foundation models, competition is shifting toward implementation and daily deployment support, placing greater emphasis on partner networks and programs that help companies design, deploy, and scale AI systems.
