Mirae Asset Launches NYSE100 Tech Active ETF by End of July

According to Korea Economic Daily, Mirae Asset will launch the TIGER US Tech NYSE100 Active ETF by end of July. The new active exchange-traded fund focuses on technology companies listed on the New York Stock Exchange, offering domestic retail investors an alternative to Nasdaq 100-focused products. The NYSE100 index allocates 73% to the information technology sector, higher than Nasdaq 100's 61% and S&P 500's 37%. The active management strategy allows faster portfolio adjustments to capture emerging IPOs from major AI firms including OpenAI, Anthropic, and Databricks, compared to passive index-tracking ETFs that wait for official index inclusion.
