According to Foresight News, Multicoin Capital co-founder Kyle Samani declared on June 1 that Web3 is dead, with only DeFi and DePIN remaining. The statement came in response to Starknet co-founder Eli Ben-Sasson's observation that the crypto industry faces an identity crisis, as long-time community members exit while institutions and traditional finance begin to enter—ironically, the very entities crypto originally sought to oppose.
