Multiple Protocols Migrate from LayerZero to Chainlink CCIP, Combined TVL Exceeds $2 Billion

According to ChainCatcher, multiple protocols with combined TVL exceeding $2 billion have announced migration from LayerZero to Chainlink CCIP. KelpDAO ($1.5 billion), SolvProtocol ($600 million), and re ($200 million) have all confirmed their moves to the Chainlink infrastructure.

The migration follows LayerZero's recent apology for poor communication during a security incident. The company acknowledged that its internal RPC was compromised by Lazarus Group and admitted to incorrectly allowing LayerZero Labs DVN as a single validator for high-value transactions, creating a single point of failure.
