According to CCTV News, on May 24, Israeli PM Netanyahu and U.S. President Trump confirmed alignment on Iran nuclear policy in a call. The two leaders agreed that any final agreement with Iran must eliminate Iran's nuclear threat, requiring the dismantling of uranium enrichment facilities and removal of enriched nuclear material from Iranian territory.

Trump reaffirmed Israel's right to self-defense on all fronts, Netanyahu said. Both leaders maintain the position that Iran will not acquire nuclear weapons.
