Norway Confirms Receipt of U.S. Weapon Delivery Delay Notice on May 4

According to Central Television (CCTV), Norway's Defense Ministry confirmed on May 4 that it received notification from the United States regarding delays in delivering weapons previously ordered by Norway. The delay stems from significant depletion of U.S. military ammunition stockpiles due to ongoing operations in Iran.

According to U.S. Defense Department assessments, multiple missile types have seen approximately 50% of their inventory consumed, with replenishment expected to proceed slowly over the coming years. The delays are expected to affect multiple European allies, as the U.S. has informed them of extended timelines for military equipment deliveries.
