NPT Review Conference Ends Without Consensus on Final Document on May 22

According to Jin10, the 11th Review Conference of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) concluded in New York at the United Nations headquarters on May 22. The conference president, Vietnam's Permanent Representative to the UN Du Xuong Viet, stated that the conference failed to reach consensus on a final outcome document. Despite four draft versions being proposed and multiple revisions based on member states' input, delegations could not agree on a common text.
