According to WSJ, Nvidia and OpenAI are negotiating a $500 billion AI data center project in southern Ohio on July 28, with planned maximum power supply of 10GW, potentially becoming the world's largest. Nvidia may provide approximately $250 billion in funding to lease the data center park developed by SBEnergy, the energy subsidiary of SoftBank. The project's first phase is expected to be completed in 2028 with initial 800MW power capacity, while the full 10GW scale would exceed most existing large AI infrastructure projects.
