According to IDC, Nvidia reached the top position in the global data center Ethernet switch market in Q1 fiscal 2026 for the first time, with quarterly revenue of $2.1 billion, up 192.7% year-over-year and capturing 21.5% market share. The company's integrated Spectrum-X solution—which combines BlueField data processing units (DPUs) and NVIDIA LinkX cables designed for large-scale GPU clusters—has attracted major cloud service providers and enterprises, allowing Nvidia to leverage its GPU ecosystem to drive adoption of its networking infrastructure.
