Gate News message, April 28 — Ondo Finance has partnered with Broadridge to introduce proxy voting functionality for holders of over 250 tokenized securities on its platform. Investors can now log into Broadridge’s ProxyVote system using their crypto wallets to access company documents and submit voting preferences.
The new system allows tokenized securities holders to review corporate materials and express their voting preferences directly through the blockchain-connected interface. Once preferences are submitted, Ondo Finance will consider these inputs when voting on shares held by the platform.
While Ondo’s tokens are structurally separate from the underlying equities and do not grant direct shareholder rights, the proxy voting feature enables token holders to have a say in corporate governance decisions. Ondo retains the ultimate responsibility for executing votes on its shareholdings, but now incorporates investor preferences into its voting decisions.
